After
playing classical guitar for 12 years, and deciding to pursue
a doctorate degree, I felt it was time to purchase a true concert
guitar. Upon arriving at The Twelfth Fret guitar store in Toronto,
Canada, there was an overwhelming number of guitars to choose
from, however, only one stood out. This guitar glowed and commanded
to be played. I was at first taken aback by the sheer clarity
of the guitar itself, the warm sound filling the room, the beautiful
tone. It was certainly the strongest guitar I had ever played
and I knew right away that this was the guitar for me.
Cervantes' master craftsmanship can easily be heard as the guitar's
sloped soundboard and combination of spruce and cocobolo rosewood
provide maximum volume and projection. The Master M series is
a true work of art.
If you are a serious player you owe it to yourself to play a Cervantes
guitar. If your local dealer doesn't carry Cervantes currently,
I strongly urge you to requested that they do. You won't be disappointed,
and neither will they.

I purchased
my Cervantes Hauser Concert model at the Classical Guitar Store
in Phil., PA. First of all, you could not have picked a better
location. Their expertise and knowledge of your guitars was great. I
told them I wanted a Hauser style guitar, and they showed me your
concert model. Needless to say, it was love at first site. I also
have played a variety of fine instruments, but the sound that
came from your guitar was special. I have owned the guitar since
2005, and it keeps getting better. The trebles sing and the bass
is full and rich. The other thing is, that no matter what strings
I use, it gives me the sound that I've always wanted.
If there
is a way, this guitar will go to my grave with me.
Thank
you for a wonderful piece of art.
Sincerely,

I
purchased the Master model Signature Series guitar with a cedar
top. The sound is unbelievable. The guitar projects really well
and has great sustain. Whether it is being played loud or softly it
sounds fantastic!

Dear
Alejandro,
Thank
you for building such a beautiful guitar. I continue to get comments
like, “That is the best French polish job I have ever seen!”
Or people will say, “What a beautiful piece of rosewood.”
Even more important to me are the comments I get regarding the
sound. While I knew it sounded rich, clear and resonant when I
bought it, instructors at various workshops I have attended continually
comment on these very assets. Once again, thanks for helping me
to bring out the best in my guitar playing.
Sincerely,

The
first time I played my Cervantes Hauser Concert Model guitar,
I thought, "This is what I've been hearing in my head every
time I played, for the last forty years." It makes me sound
like Segovia. Small wonder: it's based on his guitar. The attention
to detail can only be described as obsessive. Even the internal
bracing is steam bent, rather than being saw kerfed. This is just
a fabulous instrument, and I'm still crazy about it more than
a year later. I was worried about taking it to a tropical climate,
but Cervantes provided excellent on-line support, and I've had
no problems from temperature or humidity.

The sound and playability of Cervantes guitars is simply unmatched by any
other classical guitar I've owned or played, and I have owned many including
a '43 Hauser by Fritz Mueller, a Gabriela by Vicente Carrillo and a new
Antonio Marin Montero. Alejandro recently completed a new Hauser Signature
classical for me in 640mm scale with a player-side soundport. The sound of
this guitar is exquisite and could best be described as multi-toned:
it is beguilingly warm and lyrical for the Spanish repertoire as well as
bright, clear and aristocratic for Scarlatti and Bach. The player-side
soundport is an added delightit balances the sound to both ears while
enhancing all the best qualities of the instrument. I have never heard a
more beautiful guitar or played one that fit more perfectly in
my hands. This is my second Cervantes guitar, and I am looking forward
to commissioning a third.
